Anyway, I'd probably come up to about 40ma per tube with the plate voltage that low; that gives you about 16W dissipation which is well within specs. One question Lars, How does it sound now?? If it sounds good, then leave it. I wouldn't worry about the heater voltage dropping to 6.1VAC that's well within specs.
