Just wanted to add to Rebel's advise to be very careful and use clip leads while measuring current this way! I always leave the amp on standby and connect my clips then hit the B+. Also, do not try and play thru the amp with the leads connected. I know this is basic stuff, but I just wanted to make sure you knew this!
