Bjorn	Feedback Carl Z Carl, Ī changed the coupling caps from the driver tube to 0.047uF and replace the 220k grid leak resistors with 100k values, as you suggested. Very nice result. The bass response became much tighter andthe tone of the amp did not change. Maybe the amp became even more gainy? It sounde better (and more headrooom) with the original 12AT7 instead of the 12AX7 in the PI position. Thanks a lot! Bjorn
