A 5AR4 is overkill in a Deluxe Reverb. It is rated at 250mA. Deluxe's will happily run with a 5Y3 installed (5Y3s will handle 125mA without breaking a sweat.) In fact, I set a friend's Super Reverb up so that it looks like a big BF Deluxe Reverb. I used a 5Y3 to knock the plate voltage down to 430VDC (27mA/tube current draw.)
