Most 6L6's have no nr1 pin on them anyway so you can switch back and forth with a bias adjust. The KT66's show no connection to pin 1 in the basing diagram as well. However, a tube like a 7027A does have a connection to pin 1, and would be disasterious. You can put the jumpers thru a DPDT switch. Casey
