I will be the first one to admit that my knowledge of the tube amp is small compared to alot of people out their in the "tone world" but have to profess I am gaining alot of knowledge from people who know more than I including you. It's funny,I also have a Soldano and Sat. night at the gig,I just didnt like how it was sounding and switched to the Marshall,on other night's it's just the opposite.Go figure!!! Trace,while we are on the subject of Marshall,I also have a DSL-401 combo.I have had a problem from day one with that amp.When I switch channel's from clean to lead,it drop's out.I was informed by a Marshall rep from Canada(Marshall USA would not return any call's or my faxe's)I was told this wasnt normal.Any idea's?
