Dietmar | "Brown out" amps Hi - it was mentioned in the message "what's brown sound" some messages below, that the term "to brown out your amp" means to drive it with less voltage than recommended (200 volts instead of 230 volts i.e.). This is exactly, what has happened to me (my amp, sound) some days ago and I would like to know, if this could be done inside the amp, so that all tubes get less voltage - any suggestions? |
