| Gil Ayan | Re: Marshall - JTM45? Someone just posted this link recently either here or in the Usenet. Either was, what a great little convenient resource: http://kickme.to/schematics/ And to quickly answer the question, no, a JTM 45 used 6L6 tubes, a solid state rectifier and was actually closer to a Bassman than a Plexi. Should be easy to go from one circuit to the other, barring the SS vS Tube rectifier -- that is, you can use a SS replacement for the tube, but the converse would require punching the chassis, etc. Gil PS: For what it's worth, I love the sound of the JTM45 reissue Marshalls, never had a chance to play an original one though. |
