Re: Marshall 2204 EL34 doubled Pots
I'll take a stab at this, your post looked a little lonely (ha, ha) ;)

"1. Is there any (cheep) other possibility to make via footswitch two sounds e.g.(rhythmus with preamp 3 and master 8;
solo with preamp 5 and master 10+ )?"

I think Speedracer, Rick E. or Randall my be able to answer this better than I can. I've tried to do this before because I control the differenes you are describing with my volume knob on my guitar. A lot of guys do it this way when there is not channel switching, however, it's not to sat that it's not "do-able."

"2. Did the removal of the low input jack with its components any harm to the amp?"

No, I do this a lot actually. I usually add two small jumped wires to the board where the low input jack used to be (provided it is a PC mounted input jack).

"3. How can I build up a little bit more distortion (if possible, switchable)?"

Well you could slap a switch in there and wire a .68uF cap it. Then connect the leads of the switch to the 820ohm cathode resistor (sometimes it's 1K & it's located on V2A). This will give you a gain boost and you could also wire a foot switch to it to kick it in and out. (I'm assuming the amp is stock right now?)

"So, that all for now. If you can help me in one of my question, I will be very thankfully.

Stepfan I'm sure more people will post with some ideas for you to try. Let me know if this works for you at all or not.

Hope it helped;
