rebel420 | Re: Can of Worms . . . honestly, I would NOT use silver solder... ti tends to need a higher temperature to get tit to flow smoothly and not get "plastic"... I personally dont like using that high of temp aorund things such as caps and carbon comp resistors... in fact, i use a big weller gun for getting solder to stick to groudn points on chassis/pots etc... THEN let things cool down before any components go near any heat, and use a low wattage iron SPARINGLY |
