Re: marshall 2203 brown sound
from what I've seen the Mig50 is most like a bassman/jtm45/4pronger marshall, the Mig60/Mig50 midget and Mig100 are a LOT like the old MV marshalls/JCM800's ( legend has it, it COULD be urban legend, SpeedRacer or someone would have to confirm it for me), the JCM800's were essentially IDENTICAL to the MV marshalls of the mid/late 70's, but with a few minor mods to the power secition, which are mods that Michael Schenker had marshall do for him to increase the reliability and make his axe have a bit more grind.. whether the part about Schenker is true or legend, the jcm800s are VERY close to the MV's of the 70s'

I'll ahve to try your ideas on a boogie... essentially, you are 'tweeding' it out a bit ;)
I had a lead on a Son of A Boogie not that long ago for almost nothehing.. I thought about picking it up and modding ot to be more Dumblesque.
Just an idea about the boogies, I wonder if switching the tantalum caps out for good old aluminium electrolytics would do anything to take out the woof and flatulence fo the boogies as well...
