But i'd rather have Hendrix or Eric Johnson tone for me.And Eric uses lots of amps to get a certian sound from clean to dirty.. I see alot like to mod an amp to what type guitar is used. There are alot of things that come into play when trying to acheive a sound or tone.All these add up to the tone..Guitar,pickups, speakers, strings, tuning, and your feelings that flow through all this..will make the sound and tone. I guess i'm more from the old school of players..{~}==:::Richie
