Teflon is the proven polymer
For those very high gain or high impedance early amplifier stages in industrial amplifiers & instruments, teflon boards or standoffs are often used. It has excellent insulating properties right up there with ceramic, is more humidity resistant, and could even be easy to punch your own eyelet board then attach eyelets.

Maximum working temp is about 250 degrees Celsius, it gets kind of soft (I would use more anchor points than a regular fiberboard), but does not burn or char. If you use teflon insulated wire you know the hot iron has no detrimental effect, this material does not degrade over time, it is the most inert polymer.

Hope this helps,
Mike
