From what I understand, through the years the newer amps don't measure up to the originals. Mine says The Ampeg Company, Inc., Linden, N.J on the rear. I'd rather have my Ampeg than most Marshalls. Mine has been sitting awhile and I'm getting ready to put in some good 6L6GC's in place of those expensive 7027A's. Take Care, T.B.
