Curtis - Well, I don't know much about this Jimmy Page story, as I've been away from the page for a while, but I wanted to tell you that, as a complete beginner at amplifiers and an absolute novice at electronics, I have had great success with even the most simple, perhaps inane of questions posted here on ampage. I think many of the knowledgeable techs or hobbyists appreciate the fact the folks do a little homework before asking others to answer questions readily available anywhere in the information based world, but still, there have often been many people willing to reach out when I found myself confused by points or terminology. Granted, the answer may at times leave me more confused than the question, but folks here really like to share their knowledge. My heartfelt appreciation goes out to all those helping the technologically impaired. Have you tried researching some of the other pages which give backgrounds on amps and electronic parts and circuits. There are now dozens, if not more. I can hardly keep up with them, but I have no less than 40 Bookmarks specifically related to tube amps, and another dozen or two related to electronics. Still - THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER AMPAGE!!! dl
