I prefer aluminum because it's easier to punch and drill. I haven't had any more bending/weakness problems since i went with a thicker chassis...then again i haven't built any 100w amps. I have built a few 50w and under. I use BF Fender style chassis that are about .09" to .1" thick. So what thickness are you guys using for your aluminum chassis?
