Once again thank you Bruce. So for the sake of the original poster (SA), let me get this straight. As far as the Hammond choices:  
 
PT - 270EX 275-0-275 125mA 5v@3A 6.3v@4A is good.  
 
OT - 1650F is too much, as you stated...
