If not here goes the circut in question is a western electric with areverb stuffed between 1st and 2nd stage it uses the second half on V1 for send to reverb pan and V2 is return it has avolume and master volume what I can't get rid of is too much distortion. the only thing that came to mind was the output trans ,yes the 6l6's are biased correctly. the opt came from a old rca Church pa with 6146 tubes. could that be my problem? I did try a change on the volume and replaced the 1meg pot with a 250k pot and it seemed to clean up a bit I know that the pot is a load for the grid so whatcan i do? the last post i posted got no response so please be sporting I really could use some input from you guru's out there. thanks, dejones
