When you say 'lift the bottom of the tone stack from ground', does this mean the stock SPST switch goes between the 6800 ohm resistor coming off the bass pot and ground? I was once told that a DPDT switch is required to totally bypass the tone stack. Is your suggestion involving the stock switch a different method for accomplishing the same result? Thanks for your tips!
