Stephen Conner	I'll back you on that Yep! I agree that 'resistor tone' is bullshit. I don't have much time for 'capacitor tone' either. There might well be some tiny differences between types which cause a minuscule amount of frequency shaping or harmonic distortion, but whose ears are that sharp? Mine certainly aren't. I can just about hear the difference between a Mullard and Chinese 12AX7 and that's it. Anyway, capacitor and resistor tone pale into insignificance compared to the differences in tone caused by your playing technique or the brand of instrument you use. So quit worrying about your resistors and get practising... once you finish flaming me that is. Steve C.
