EL84-based homebrew questions

Lee	EL84-based homebrew questions OK, I'm ready to start brain-picking I've gutted my Traynor Guitarmate to build a 2xEL84 amp using the Kevin O'Connor Tonnes of Tone preamp. Need to decide what to do for a power amp. I could keep the Traynor circuit and just lower the B+ (it was 438!) with a new tranny and a tube rectifier (part of the plan regardless). Or I could build Randy's AX84 plexi-like power amp or ???. Any suggestions/recommendation?
