Stuart | Re: EF86 Questions I'm using an EF86 into a paralled 12AX7, then into an EL84 or 6V6 (single ended). I like it, but I haven't tried rewiring for a 12AX7 in it's place. The EF86 on its own had a nice clean tone, but didn't have enough oomph to overdrive the output valve. |
