You can always add more filtering, it won't really hurt the amp. (from an electrical standpoint)  
 
But this is where you start to get into pyscoacoustics. *Most* guitarists prefer a more unfiltered approach to their amps. Lower filtering allows for more harmonic junk (and goodies ;-) to appear within the amp. Although if clean is what you are after, and if you want a better bass response, go for the larger filters. Just to my taste I prefer a lower ammount of filtering.  
 
Experiment here, and find what you like! But if you are looking for more of a STOCK sound, dont up the cap values very much.
