Ted	Triad R-72A Hi, I have just rec'd free a Triad R-72A which has the following: 800VAC (CT'd) @ 140ma 5VAC @ 3A 6.3VAC @ 4A Can this 800V@140ma be used to provide B+ for a tube amp? I assume this means 400-0-400. What tube rectifiers offert the most voltage drop? I have a few 5u4GB's around. I was also given another Triad PT with 880VCT@75ma which has 3 separate 6.3VAC windings (0.3a, 0.6a, 0.9a)but no rectifier 5V winding. How about this 440-0-440? Could this be tamed to a reasonable B+ for a tube amp? Thanks for any help. Ted.
