Good info thanks. But I have some matched pairs of Phillips JAN NOS 6L6WGB tubes. How do these fit in? I was told they were a 5881 "drop in", is that true? I wanted an early breakup alternative to the RCA 6L6GC's and Phillips 7581A's that I am using in some of my amps. Any insight would be appreciated.
