Allways set the bias when you change tubes Q: What is the tone/gane difference? A: I change from 6L6GC GROOVE TUBES to DRSR-5881/6L6WGC SOVTEK both tubes where bias at 34mA at 385 Volt. The amp got an erlier breakup less headroom, much better in my taste. Lars |
