| kyle | How about doing this with a tube? Well I've got a free socket that's not being used right now so I think I'll try this trick with a tube, but I do have the 820 on order. So let me see if I got this right. output of the inverter ac coupled to the follower with what were the pwr tube grid leaks going to ground just like before. The plate of the followers going to B+ but not to exceed the V rating ( 330?) when you add the neg voltage that the cathodes will be hooked up to. The neg voltage should be large enough to allow the tube to pull all the way down for the neg portion of the input signal, but not to exceed the cathode to heater rating. Am I right so far? So maybe something like 150 B+ on the plate and 50-75 B- on the cathode? Also what values for the cathode resistors that now double as the pwr tube grid leaks? Any and all formulas would be welcome! |
