Lee, Fender cathode biased power tube amps are almost always about 1500 ohms or more higher primary Zed then fixed bias amps.  
Plus the iron, watt for watt, is bigger... this could be due to construction techniques of the day but it's a nice  
difference.  
(most all vintage amps are this way)
