Dean	Re: JCM800 mod suggestions? Done. I checked all the web sites, and picked a few mods, the easiest for me at this stage were the ones on the Trace Allen site. So I did them (except for the 50K mid pot), and they brought me closer to the desired result - wider range of tone. The real difference came with new tubes - sovteks, and it's now much better! A bit of raspiness left, but I'm thinking it's those 65w speakers. Thanks to all who contributed!!! Dean

Done.
