With a 5Y3 rectifier, the voltages came out about right: 375 - 380V on the plates. The following info was given to me on another board: Mark, FWIW the examples of 5E3 and 5C3 to come across my bench have had 6V6 plate voltages in the neighborhood of +385V. The one 5E3 that I measured the PT on had 370VAC per side going to the 5Y3, and delivered +398V to the OTCT, and +385V to the plates. Other voltages taken from that 5E3: 1st preamp tube supply = +252V, plate volts at 1st preamp triodes (12AY7) +125V each. Volume/tone recovery stage triode (12AX7) plate volts = 162V. The PI was 200V plate and 48V cathode. Screens were at about +340V. I have a note on the 5E3 drawing that the power tubes were acoustically isolated with those rubber grommet deals. Hope this helps. Many companies have Deluxe Output transformers. Actually, New Sensor supposedly has a good one, and it is relatively cheap. Mark Knapp
