E.G....S/D Alnico pro 2's, BFSR, v-5, b-5, m-6, t-4 with bright switch on. Lindy Fralin blues specials (IMHO the best!) v-5, b-3, m-7, t-7 with the bright switch on. What seems to be consistent is the v-5. With the pro 2's the lindy settings would have been piercing. The Lindys have a real smooth sound so you don't have those piercing highs and can turn up the treble for a nice smooth mid and high range. My $.02 Again this is really subjective. M/J
