Rob, I just solved a hum problem in my diy amp today.For some unknown reason one of the filter caps in the power supply had a broken negative lead when I touched the cap it would make contact with the eyelet and the hum would disapear only to reapear when the contact to ground was broken. I hope this can provide you with an other option to look at. Gary |
