Fender Tone Stack Voltage Drop Question

| Mitch | Fender Tone Stack Voltage Drop Question Greetings. I'm wondering about the voltage drop across the standard Fender blackface tone stack. For example, if I have an input voltage such that 5.0 volts or so is seen on the plate of the input triode right where the tone stack connects, how much voltage is lost before it gets to the voltage divider (volume pot). I'm sure it depends heavily on the settings of the tone controls. What if the tone controls are all at "5"? What about all the tone controls "maxed"? Thanks in advance for your help! |
