I'm never sure if it makes that much difference running different impedance speaker setups, so long as you make sure it's matched to the amp and the phase is correct. 16 ohms has he advantage that you can stick two cabs on and just flick the impedance selector to 8 ohms. There is no 2 ohm tap! I find the 2203 sounds a bit harsh through G12 75 watt speakers. You realy want 25 or 30 watts (100 watt cabinet). I think they reissue these, but I've never had too much trouble finding them second-hand (here in the UK).
