I actually have the same amp and use it regularly on gigs. I've been using Groove Tubes for both power and preamp. Mesa has a preamp tube that might inerest you if you've had any problems with feedback. It's called the SPAX7 and is a 12AX7 with a rubber thingy on it to stop ringing. Generally happens if you have the gain crancked ! (it replaces the first preamp tube ) The GT Power Tubes are a matched set and rated from 1-10:  
 
1 - 3 Early distortion (wider range of distortion)  
 
4 - 7 Normal distortion  
 
8 -10 Late distortion (more clean power/ headroom)
