| Daver | Re: Guytron amp - bias and tube pulling questions Benjamin, The idea behind the Guytron is to be able to get the "small amp cranked" sound at a louder level. The 2 cathode biased EL-84's feed a small output type transformer and that in turn feeds a master tone section and volume and then goes into a 4xEL-34 output section. I own one and am very happy with it. Between the two channels you can get a wide variety of clean to heavily overdriven tones. Daver |
