Bill Watson | Re: Fluctuating B+ and low filament voltage problem Thanks for your response Daver. I plugged my meter into the AC outlet and, yes, it fluctuated between 116 and 121 volts. If the primary and secondary trans voltages are proportional, that would make the B+ vary about the amount I noted. Am I correct in thinking they are proportional? If so, I'll have to find the source of the problem in my house wiring. Also, to everyone, sorry for the loose use of the "D" word. This is a hobby for me and I don't get to talk to other real amp people often. |
