Thanks for all the replies, guys. It looks as though I'm going to have about 420 on the plate (PT puts out 360, so with a 5Y3 I should get around 415-425VDC). I'll know more tomorrow because I should finish it up by then.  
 
As for the cathode resistor, I figured that Speed was thinking about a P-P setup. A 470 Ohm is what's listed on the Princeton schematic for the 6V6 and I guess that should be in the ballpark for a 6L6 as well. What wattage resistor do you guys recommend in this application?  
 
I tested the output tranny and found out that it was made for a 4 Ohm speaker (it has a 1056/1 impedance ratio, which should make it reflect the right load for a single 6L6 when hooked up to a 4 Ohm speaker, right?).  
 
BTW, just for fun, I'm using a chassis that's 5 3/4" by 6 3/4". It's pretty damn cute, and hopefully it'll be a great practice amp.
