Justin | Re: Sovtek Mig 60 Thanks for the opinion. I'm getting mine for under $200, and I don't expect or even want it to sound like my Vox. Contrast, a really raw tone. I just can't get my Vox to sound bad. Even the crappiest fuzz box sounds somehow nice. I can take a Hyper Fuzz on Mode II with everything all the way up, and, sure, it sounds like mush, but it's a nice sort of much. It got kind of frustrating, to tell you the truth. I was trying to get a really nasty drill-going-through-your-skull industrial sort of tone for a song I was recording, and eventually I just gave up, took a basic distorted tone into SoundForge and used an FFT filter to make it sound horrible. And now I've digressed. Sorry. Thanks again Justin |
