The DR seems to be a more sensitive creature – maybe it’s a she! Have you tested different cap values? Like 1 and 2 and 5uF in the first stage and 1 and 2 and 5 and 10uF in the recovery? Have you tested different values in the PI caps 0.1 -> 0.047uF and different values in the PI resistors 220K -> 120K? What effects did that have on the sound? (I’m locking for headroom and distortion when turning up the guitar volume, not too much gain, but some). Bjorn
