Skip the Torres, Funk, O'Connor, Gerald Weber and Aspen Pittman books unless you're interested in erroneous and/or overly subjective information. For good tutorials in tube theory, I suggest Valve Amplifiers by Morgan Jones and Beginner's Guide to Tube Audio Design by Bruce Rozenblitt.
