Vibrolux or Deluxe Reverb

Bjorn | Vibrolux or Deluxe Reverb I’ve just run across a SF Vibrolux Reverb from 1975 (2 x 10”), it seemed to be in good shape (didn’t have time to listen). What I really was looking for was a Deluxe Reverb or a RI DR. The DR seems very hard to find. I’ve never compared the two amps but the Vibrolux does seem to have good reputation. Is it possible to blackface a SF Vibrolux? Would it be worth the trouble? If one should choose between a SF Vibrolux and a RI DR, what would it be? I can’t carry around my big SR anymore, I’ll get a hernia. Please help! Bjorn |
