Marc | Re: ax-84..p-1 to 6l6 ???? You'll get less V+ with the 5U4 than the 5Y3. You could *gasp* use silicon diodes for a bit more V+. The extra amp the 5U4 draws will probably stress the power tranny yyou could try it, but if the PT is at its limit at 2A @ 5V, it could burn it up. Got extra PT's to experiment with? Marc |
