| SteveR | Re: Volume pots Thanks for the info Jim. That helps quite a bit. What I think I may do is give it a try placing the 500k pot "on top" of a 47k or 100k resistor. Basically, when the pot is switched in I've got some high gain stuff going on in earlier stages, so the pot is a way to manage the extra gain and balance the output level of the high gain setting with the clean setting. It will be functioning more like a "trim" than a volume control since there is a post driver master. And if it doesn't work, well, then I'll know not to do that! Thanks. SteveR |
