ax-84..p-1 to 6l6 ????

hyschip | ax-84..p-1 to 6l6 ???? I am thinking of using a 6l6 in my p-1 I would like up the plate voltage using a 270x270 @ 60 ma p/t the p/t also has a 5 volt @ ma tap so..I have a 5y3gt recto laying around and was gona use that..then theres a 6.3 @ 2A tap for all the heaters I am not shure how to figure out what the b+ will be after I do this ...geussing 320-350??? Iam I even close?? I am hoping to get better low end, and also upping the 12ax7 cathode caps to 25uf ala fender... I am aming for 8-9 watts out of the 6l6 my o/t is the stephens "kiwi" and can handal about 90 ma .... ...anyone see any problems in doing this?? |
