DR.Z | Re: EF-86 & Dr. Z Route 66 Questions Morris, I have found that all of the KT line ( i.e. 66,77, and 88 ) work very well ZNFB UL. I also like EL-34's UL, tho a standard OT works well with 34's. I don't care for the responce in Guitar amps of 6L6's 6V6's and EL-84's with UL trannies. And Mike I use a traditional 43% tap on my UL's, it makes for a nice operating spot between, triode, and tetrode/pentode responce, kind of the best of both worlds. DR.Z DR.Z |
