peter	Re: rectifier in homebrew ac-30 TB...   The current draw of an extra 12ax7 is very small.   I would check how much current the outputs   are drawing, maybe you need a bigger cathode   resistor. A different rectifier tube may   give you slightly less plate voltage too.
