It'll let you go from relatively clean to a nice overdrive (sans tone controls) in the blink of an eye. It's a cinch to add in and adds a lot of versatility. You might also want to add a switch that disconnects the NFB. I've fooled with my champ's NFB loop quite a bit and I've found that I prefer it disconnected. MJ
