| Psycho Bass Guy | Bruce, Weber, and thoughts anonymous smartass postings. Wow, let's crack on my instrument and and my ears. I guess that SPL meter didn't have anything to say about the cabinet's response. SPL at 1 meter approximately 100 watts is now 110db for a 1khz tone, for a 40Hz tone it is now 96 db and down at 35Hz it is 59 db. Before, the clear dropoff point was 50Hz with a 65db, but I guess a bass player would know things like that. (I write this stuff down so my small brain won't be taxed by it.) I never mentioned the SPL meter before because on Ampage most people take what you say at face value and don't show how insecure they are in both their playing ability and technical knowledgethat they have to anonymously say derogatory things concerning both MY judgement and musical ability. Hey Anon, whoever you are, go back to jamming with your Crate amp to your Korn CD in your bedroom in your parents' house and don't bother people who are simply trying to have some fun and learn something in the process. Hallelujah, Holy Shit! Where's the Tylenol? Now, on to a reply with some thought. Bruce, I have had the amp indoors in a controlled climate(heat pump w/ dehumidfier because I live in East TN) environment for the past three years. Do you think that the speaker could have retained moisture after that? (although that sounds much more sane than my spider theory) Where could I get ahold of Weber and does he have any bass speakers BTW? Psycho |
