AustinC	Re: Any tube amps use diode clipping besides Marshall? The Mesa V-Twin uses diodes in the classic Marshall configuration. Looks like a bridge with an extra diode across it. The V-Twin uses 1N914/4148 diodes (very smooth) whereas Marshall went for the LED brashness.     CYA   AustinC
